Collection: I Was Just A Girl Then

Four paintings tell the story of a girl growing up.

They shift from fantasy into the real world, holding the struggles and the strength it takes to keep moving forward and stay balanced.

As the pieces get larger and the story continues, the use of pink starts to decrease. It feels like the work is starting to face new challenges that force her to let go of little parts of her girlhood innocence.

But there is always some of that softness of pink. Some of that dreaminess and playfulness, even if our faces have changed and we can't just be kids anymore.
